Shops

  • Must support Post Office and all shops (13)
  • Post Office - Central to village life
  • Many use weekly
  • It is up to local people to support local shops!
  • Turn old Newsagents into hairdresser/chemist (2)
  • Make more presentable (2)
  • Need shop at top of village
  • More business needed
  • Create a Fair Trade village (4)
  • Sell more local produce
  • We need better shops!
  • Support for small complementary therapy practices(10 in village)
  • Country Gallery and Mrs G’s create focus for visitors

  • Lovely to have ‘family pub with play area etc. serving children’s meals
  • Pub down by river

More parking in village (7)

  • Less yellow lines (3) give wrong message to visitors!
  • Retain yellow lines for safety reasons
  • More people would use amenities

  • Swimming Pool - freshish water now in River. Create sunwarmed UV fitered pool
  • Planning restrictions inhibit employment
  • Better Mobile phone coverage
  • Stop second homes from taking over
