The team participate in numerous call change competitions at both deanery and county level. In 2012, the team won the "County Championship" by winning the Devon Association (www.devonbells.co.uk) Major Final competition held in June at Down St Mary. For visiting ringers and visitors, the church building is not that visible from the main road, however Church Path, which is outside the Church House Inn, and opposite the Post Office, leads to the church. Post code is TQ9 6SD. There are no toilet facilities in the church although public toilets are about 50m walk along Paignton Road. Access by coach needs to be checked beforehand because of the windy narrow roads and high stone walls that are a characteristic of Stoke Gabriel.
