The Royal British Legion

Mission Statement.

To be the No1 provider of Welfare, Comradeship, Representation and Rememberance for the Armed Forces Community and Stand Shoulder to Shoulder with all who serve.

About the Branch.

The Branch has been in operation for over 90 years and has both a Mens & Womens section with a total of  90 members. We endevaour to raise money to support the welfare of past members of the Armed Forces and their families.

We hold 3 to 4 events throughout the year. Usually a Social Evening in April, A Coffee Morning in May & December. In some years we have a boat trip either to Dartmouth or Totnes. All money raised at these events go to the Royal British Legion.

We are well supported by the village and are always on the lookout for future members to assist us. Anyone wishing to join does not have to have been a member of the Armed Services.

We do not have any facility in the village but our Committee meets once a month to discuss future events and pass on correspondence from both our Devon & National Branch.
