Pre-school visit to the farm

pre-school got close to nature when they visited the new born lambs at a
local farm.
Walking
to Higher Well Farm, on the outskirts of the village, the children were very
excited. Farmer John Ball greeted them before showing the children the new
born lambs and the heavily pregnant cows. Kate Peakman, acting supervisor,
said: “We come to the farm every year at this time and the children love
it. It is a great opportunity for them to see the animals close up and get
a real sense of what a farm is like.”
There was no doubt however, that the
biggest hit of the day was the opportunity to sit on the tractor!
