             Stoke Gabriel Vintage
             Summer Fair

                   Sunday 17th July 2011    2.00pm to 5.00pm

Stoke Gabriel Vintage Summer Fair brings together the best of local vintage and home made craft with traditional summer fair family entertainment - jesters, side shows and stalls, home made tea and cakes

Stoke Gabriel Vintage Summer Fair will be held on Sunday, 17th July 2011. The fair will be held on our beautiful school field in the centre of the village and starts at 2.00pm. Entrance is £1.50 for adults and just 50p for children.

Visitors will be entertained by comedy juggler Dan Brazier. Live music will be provided by a local Andrews Sisters tribute act and other 1940s inspired musicians. A dog agility demonstration will be given before any willing dogs and their owners are put through their paces around the course.

Showcasing a fine selection of local vintage and home made crafts, the Summer Vintage Fair will also be a great opportunity to pick unique crafts, home wear and jewelllery, as well as trying your hand at some of the crafts on show.

Traditional side shows and stalls, including coconut shy, giant skittles and hook a salmon will be alongside craft activities and the ever popular bouncy castle. No village Fair would be complete without local food and drinks, and Stoke Gabriel Vintage Summer Fair will not disappoint with cider and apple juice from the village’s orchards, homemade cakes and Devon cream teas.

Stoke Gabriel Vintage Summer Fair is organised by FOSS, Friends of Stoke Gabriel School as part of the Stoke Gabriel Carnival 2011. We hope to raise £1,000 for Stoke Gabriel Primary School to develop our Forest Schools Programme, buy new books for the school library and contribute to school trips.
