Parish clerk vacancy

Stoke Gabriel Parish Council wishes to appoint a Parish Clerk to take over from the Acting Clerk to the Council.

Previous experience as a Clerk or with council work would be an advantage but it is not essential for the right candidate, as training will be offered. 

A high level of competence in Word, Excel, e-mailing, and website management is essential, as is the ability to take accurate minutes of meetings. Management of budget sheets and Council finances is also a key aspect of this role 

The post is for a nominal 32 hours per month over a 52 week year. The salary is in accordance with NALC (National Association of Local Councils) and SLCC (Society of Local Council Clerks) recommended rates at a minimum of £10.953 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
