Help during for 2008

Can you spare a couple of hours a week to help with the displays around the village. If so please contact 782762 for details and help to keep our village blooming.

Here in the pretty Dartside village of Stoke Gabriel an enthusiastic working committee, with the help of other village organizations are aiming to make it one of the best floral villages in the South West. In 2004  we won a silver gilt award for the second year running in the competition organized by the RHS and every year we are determined to improve on that.

Throughout the village there are some 28 floral display points for you to admire, and we try hard to keep them looking at their best throughout the summer.

The scheme is not only intended to deal with floral matters, but also landscaping and environmental issues such as litter, graffiti and vandalism.

If anyone has some time to spare, why not join the Stoke Gabriel Bloomers and make some new friends.
