A weather Station has been installed at The River Shack. Do go and view the screen showing the current and past weather information at the Quay , stoke Gabriel. Also shows tide times and pontoon webcam. Stoke Gabriel Weather Station
Yalberton Valley
Torbay council plan to build 800 houses on the fringes of Stoke Gabriel. This would have a radical effect upon our Village. Visit the Save Yalberton Valley Action Group website to find out more and offer your support.
At the two public meeting in November and December, there were huge numbers of people who came along to Paignton Community College to offer their support for the campaign and to express their opposition to Torbay Council's plans for the development of Yalberton Valley.

Devon voted best place to live in UK
From Country Life magazine "Devon came out on top in the survey scoring 72 points - well ahead of its closest rivals Gloucestershire and Cornwall, which had 64 points each."
